Dr. Suneet Bhansali, MD

I began my medical journey at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Go Tarheels! Following medical school, I completed my general pediatric residency and fellowship in pediatric cardiology in New York City. I finished my medical training with an advanced fellowship in pediatric cardiac critical care, and currently work as a Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care doctor at Inova Children's Hospital in Northern Virginia.
My academic interests include cardiac arrest prevention, optimizing pediatric patients on VA ECMO, transitions in healthcare, and advances in pediatric cardiac imaging and surgery. I believe medicine only moves forward through the open sharing of knowledge and learning from one another. For these reasons, I am excited to be a part of the PCICU Pulse podcast.
